Sierra Club names Brune new head - San Francisco Business Times::
"Michael Brune has been named executive director of the Sierra Club.
Brune replaces Carl Pope, who has led the San Francisco-based environmental organization since 1992, and has been involved with it for 37 years. Pope will remain on as executive chairman."
